Koreaness Awakening Movement Union
Through proper history education and traditional cultural experiences for ordinary citizens and teenagers, we help them establish national identity and promote pride to foster a sense of community as global citizens.
¤· In awareness of confusion of identity faced by youth of multi-cultural families and North Korean defectors, we offer history education and traditional culture experience programs to help them build national identity and foster sense of community as a global citizen.
¤· The K-pop trend led by BTS, BLACKPINK, etc., and K-content, such as Parasite and Squid Game, are spreading across the world. For children of overseas Koreans interested in Korea, we offer them an opportunity to visit Korea. We help them experience the Korean culture directly and develop values on Korean history to remind them the value of Korean soul, make them feel proud as Korean, and help them develop a correct historical awareness.
¤· The headquarters utilize the cultural experience programs of the branches to expand beyond a simple and formal cultural experience and promote the fundamental Koreaness awakening experience program. The branches submit the project plan and the headquarters review and evaluate the project plan as the host of the cultural experience program.
The program invites the children of multicultural families living in Korea and overseas Koreans living abroad to inspire the self-confidence and build identity as Korean. The invited children and youth will be taking educational and experience programs for Korean history and culture.
¤· Help the youth build the correct national identity, satisfy various cultural desires, and foster sound historical awareness through history education and traditional culture experience.
¤· Offer an opportunity to visit Korea for overseas Koreans to experience the Korean culture and build a correct sense of values toward the Korean history.
We hold history and culture lectures for citizens to establish national identity and inspire pride.
We hold lectures on Koreaness and provide various cultural experience programs to help migrant women living in Korea and multicultural youth understand Korea better, learn essential knowledge as Koreans, and develop a correct view of history.
